I have a love relationship with the forest and a love relationship with Lake Michigan. In the sacred spaces where these two lovers intertwine, where the trees meet the shoreline, where roots cling to sand dunes like legs tangled in intimate embrace, something unnameable stirs deep within me.
It’s something beyond me. Something that is part of me. Something as earthy as my physical body. Something wordless and esoteric that cannot be named.
